Q: Is there a minimum age for attending? A: 3 year olds can only take part in our standard chocolate workshops and parties For slime workshops & parties is age 4+ For Pampered Chocolat is age 6+ Q: Do you use Borax? A: No, Borax is banned in the UK.
Q: Do adults need a ticket? A: No ticket is needed for a parent if they are just supervising.
Q: Can single children book or is it just for groups? A: You can buy single tickets. Our available workshops are listed here.
Q: Can I stay with my child? A: Yes parents are welcome to come. There is seating provided so you can stay and watch, as we encourage children to make their own slime without parents’ assistance if possible. If children are over 6, they can also be dropped off.
Q: What is the difference between a party and a workshop? A: A party is generally a private event, whereas a workshop is open for anyone who has a ticket to attend.
Q: Does the birthday party price include the birthday child? A: Yes.
Q: Are parties private? A: Yes parties will have their own room / space or tables.
Q: Is there a cake included in the parties? A: No we do not provide cake, however we do encourage you to bring one! There is time allocated for a happy birthday song and cake cutting.
Q: Can we have sparklers on the cake? A: No sparklers please as it can set off the smoke alarms.
Q: Do you do parties at home? A: At this time we do not offer any external chocolate parties. We do have mobile slime parties, but as we need several tables, mobile slime is usually at community centres.
Q: How much does an extra child cost for a party? A: It is £20 for each extra child.
Q: How do I book a party? A: There is a form online at the bottom of the page, but you can also email or message us to reserve your date.
Q: How do I pay for the party? A: We ask for a £20 deposit, with the remaining balance due 48 hours before the event, all via bank transfer.
Q: Do you supply cups, candles, matches etc. for parties? A: Yes we provide all of those, but we encourage you to bring in your own themed party napkins!
Q: Can we bring in food for the parties? A: You are encouraged to bring in a cake, we can also offer buffet food if required.
Q: Can the colour of the slime be changed? A: Yes we have a variety of paints available, so many different colours can be made.
Q: How many varieties of slime can we make? A: Classic slime and fluffy slime are the usual two we make, occasionally we will do crunchy slime or metallic slime, and in November we have Glow in the dark slime, December, Christmas slime...
Q: Can we bring home the slime? A: Yes! All slime is brought home in a tub for parties, zip lock bags for workshops.
Q: My slime went a bit hard, what can I do? A: Just add in some hand soap or lotion and it will go soft and squidgy again! Aftercare rules will be advised at our events also.
Q: Can we just buy slime? A: Yes we can make slime for you to pick up, to cater for your party. Contact us for a quote.
Q: What materials are used in the slime? A: Glue, contact lens solution, shaving foam, and paint.
Q: Do slime parties or workshops include food? A: Yes we provide branded crisps and diluting juice.
Q: Are you accessible via public transportation? A: Yes, the nearest train stations Livingston North and Livingston South are walking distance away, and the number 3 & 10 bus drive straight by our building.

Q: How long are the workshops? A: Our workshops are 90 minutes, parties can be longer depending on numbers of children.
Q: Does the chocolate get contaminated with slime? A: No, we keep them entirely separate, we have one room for chocolate and one for slime. Q: Do you sell Gift Vouchers? A: Yes - see here! They are valid for one child 12 and under, and they can be used in any workshop.
