Slime
1. Older clothes must be worn 2. Children will be offered aprons and hairnets 3. Children will be given rules upon arrival, they cannot take part in the workshop without this 4. No children under 4 can take part 5. We will ask children to wash hands before any food is given 6. Parents can stay but space is tight so a maximum of 6 adults to any events only 7. At children events, parents do not have to pay unless they wish to 8. Any child that tries to eat glue or paint (pika) can not take part 9. Any ill child must be taken home right away or not brought in within 48 hours of illness 10. Any child with hand, foot and mouth cannot enter into the workshop 11. Parties cancelled within the 7 days before their party will be charged £50 + deposit fee 12. Food is always kept away from slime, any food thought to be contaminated with slime will be disposed of 13. parents can not bring their own buffet for events, only the company can provide this from a list of preferred suppliers |

Fountain Terms and Conditions
1. The rental of the fountain/s means just this, you pay for a service to borrow our fountain and we ask that you collect and drop the machine and any equipment we have hired to you back to us.
2. All Equipment must be wiped down and put into a separate bag ready for us to clean it fully.
3. The Core can be added to a dishwasher for a quick clean and the rest can be wiped down with hot soapy water.
4. We will supply a basic platter of biscuits, marshmallows and mini donuts, plus chocolate, ice cream or toffee sauce.
5. The machine will make a noise until you put a liquid into it, please don’t worry!
6. All equipment stolen, brought back late or damaged will be paid for but the customer.

Other Rules
Chocolate making suitable age: 4+ (smaller children may need help from their parent, mums get ready to lick your fingers too!
Younger than age 4 and children tend not to be interested for long enough in sitting still for the workshop. Our workshop can also be tailored for adults, the elderly and both children and adults with learning difficulties or abilities. Some of our party packages are only suitable age 6+ please don’t be offended if we have to turn a child away that is younger than the required age for the party. This is your responsibility to only invite suitable age group guests.

Ingredients and Allergies: The ingredients we use includes milk, eggs, dairy, soya, nuts, food colourings, gelatines both (pork and beef), additives, wheat, gluten, sweeteners and syrups. Most items we use are branded sweets, marshmallows, biscuits and icing, cakes and colourings, these items can also include these ingredients, if you have dietary requirements, this MUST be emailed over to staff a week before arrival as having customers turn up expecting to have a different range for their own diet can hold up our classes and disrupts the rest of the customers. We will try to accommodate for dietary requirements as much as possible but notifying us is always advised. We can’t always cater for your child so please don’t be upset if we cannot allow your child to participate.
Event Times: Customers are requested to arrive promptly for a workshop, if you arrive after the session starts you could be asked to join the next available workshop, this is due to the fact that’s it’s unfair to let the other children wait. We also may have another workshop or private event running straight after it so it’s not always possible to arrive late and still take part in activities.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes before a session starts please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait elsewhere, this is as we are either clearing up from the last group or setting up for your session.
Please keep noise levels to a minimum as we share our building with many other businesses trying to work.
Protective Clothing: We always offer an apron and hat/hairnet to children to protect their clothes and hair, we understand not all children will want to wear it and we don’t make them, it’s simply to save their own clothing, a change of clothes may be a better option for little one’s, especially if going somewhere nice afterwards! Older clothes are best, with sleeves that can be rolled up, we are not responsible for your child making a mess of their own or others clothes but luckily chocolate usually doesn't stain and washes out with a standard 40 degree wash.
Payment: Sessions must be paid for in full before the session starts or with any vouchers or certificates, Any valid vouchers must be submitted at the time of booking, otherwise you will be asked to pay in full at the normal standard cost.
Activities: Children will make different items each time they visit, it won’t always be the same however sometimes items are and the children still enjoy it, All children are treated the same and fairly.
PLEASE ONLY ASSIST CHILDREN THAT NEED IT Most children of nursery age plus are more than capable of the activities given, we will assist the children if they need extra help. Helping a child that doesn’t need help isn’t allowing them to become independent.
Eating/sampling: Unless eaten during the class all children are encouraged to make and take home their items, we will of course sample some delicious chocolate, even the parents are encouraged to try some!
Surroundings: Please be aware we are inside the business centre with other businesses, being quiet in the corridors is essential to keep noise volumes at a minimum and the level of respect we require around others.
Risks: All children are given their own tray with new fresh chocolate and ingredients, this cuts risks of cross contamination and spread of germs. We steam clean our furniture, surfaces and anything else touched by children, this is less harmful to children (and our staff’s hands as it doesn’t use chemicals) but we also use an anti-bacterial spray all surfaces, keeping our hygiene standards at a premium. Running in the area is strictly prohibited as carpet burns can be painful if a person falls on this surface.
Refunds:
No refunds are offered on no shows or cancellations.
No refunds are given to those that bring a child under the required age for a task due to a seat that could have been sold elsewhere.

Gooey Events Limited reserves the right to turn anyone away misusing the slime or any of our equipment, ingredients or materials.
Gooey Events Limited does not use harmful ingredients in the making of this product, however we do use ingredients like contact lens solution, starch, soap, pva glue and paint, clear rules are given before starting all sessions regarding protection of hands and always wash hands before food at home afterwards.
